The term, now referred to as PMOS, is recognized as more than cysts in the ovaries that reduce the chances of pregnancy. Whitney also recalled her own story with PCOS history. At 20 years old, she recalled how, when she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, she didn’t know much about it. Now, with the medical breakthrough, she is happy PCOS is not just a chronic illness that affects fertility.
Whitney, at 42, really wants to bear children. Last season, she looked for sperm donors. It is evident that PCOS didn’t receive much medical attention throughout these years.
