“They Were Supposed to Be Off the Grid.” ABP Members Spotted at a Casino in Vegas — Fans Are Shook

Alaskan Bush People: How Much Family Members Get Paid To Do The Show

The Brown family has built its entire image around off-grid living, wilderness survival, and simple life values. But when photos leaked online showing several Alaskan Bush People stars at a Las Vegas casino, fans weren’t sure what to believe. Off the grid? More like off the strip.

“Is This Who They Really Are?”

The blurry snapshots first appeared on Reddit—allegedly taken by a fan who spotted Bear, Gabe, and possibly Noah near the roulette tables at a high-end Vegas casino. In one photo, a man who looks like Bear is holding a drink and laughing with what looks like security staff nearby.

The photos weren’t staged. There were no Discovery Channel cameras, no production crew—just the Browns, looking like regular tourists. And for many fans, that was the shock: “So… they do live normal lives off camera?”

Some defended them, saying they deserve a break. Others felt deceived.

“Bush People Don’t Gamble, Right?”

The backlash was quick. Many longtime viewers felt the images went against everything the show portrays. “They spent years telling us they couldn’t even get cell service,” one comment read. “Now they’re in Vegas with cocktails and slot machines?”

Other fans pointed out that these were grown men, entitled to their privacy and personal choices. “They’re not monks,” one user said. “Let them enjoy themselves.”

Still, Discovery Channel hasn’t commented—and the Browns have stayed silent.

Real Life vs. Reality TV?

This isn’t the first time the Browns have been spotted living “off-brand” from their wilderness image. Fast food drive-thrus, airport sightings, and now a Vegas casino visit—are these just harmless moments, or proof the show isn’t as raw as it seems?

One thing is clear: for a family known for avoiding modern life, Vegas is about as modern—and flashy—as it gets.
