In a recent conversation, the star weighed in on how time was a luxury she couldn’t afford to waste.
Whitney Way Thore Admits Needing To Rush Pregnancy
As previously reported, with the new season, Thore has opened up about her desire to become a parent. The series has already shown the star looking into sperm donors, weighing in on what factors she’s considering for her future child.
Thore’s journey to become a mother also became a topic of discussion when she recently appeared on Access Hollywood, where she spoke with Stephanie Swaim. During the conversation, the host noted her journey to have a child and why this is the best time for her.

Noting that her show was recently hitting its thirteenth season, Thore reflected on how long-time fans know that motherhood and having a child has long been something she desired. She described this as “a decision that I’ve thought about, that I’ve wanted, that I’ve explored different options.” This has included options from adoption to freezing her eggs.
Whitney Way Thore Also Opened Up About People Sharing Their Own Stories With Her
Thore continued, “It’s something that’s always been really on the forefront of my mind. And I think now, you know, people say like, ‘Oh, what was the moment that made you realize you wanted to do artificial insemination? And I can’t really pinpoint one moment.” However, she shared that her age was also a contributing factor to the decision.
The star explained, “I just really don’t have a lot of time, and I need to honestly like decide what I want and just make it happen. You know, unfortunately, motherhood is often something that involves another person, but if you don’t have the luxury of having a partner to have a child with, you know, there is another option.”
