The two filed for divorce and cited that their marriage had become “irretrievably broken.” But despite their split, Josh and Lauryn promised to co-parent their kids. The previous episode also featured Lauryn sharing that she’s ready to fall in love again. But she was caught off guard when her ex-husband suffered a serious car accident.

WeTV recently released a new preview clip for the upcoming episode of Mama June. It features Lauryn receiving a phone call saying that Josh got into an accident. According to investigations, Josh flipped his truck while driving at 65 mph. Josh was on his way to his job when he crashed. Lauryn rushed to her car to get to Josh before the preview cut off to another scene where June shared a “little something” she did for Alana’s birthday.
Josh has already recovered from the car accident, which happened last year. At this point, Josh and Lauryn have completely moved on from each other, but they still remain present for their kids. Lauryn is now in a relationship with Darrin Kitchens. She’s been sharing photos of them online, and some of their pictures indicate that her kids have become attached to him.
