“It’s Not The Same”: Buddy Bell Drops Truth Bomb About Whitney Friendship Since Saying ‘I Do’!. What happened??!

My Big Fat Fabulous Life': What was Buddy Bell's embarrassing 'doggie' sex and dating advice to Whitney Thore?

The famous “pizza box marriage pact” is officially null and void. Buddy Bell, the longtime best friend and “Boo Bear” to Whitney Way Thore, has dropped a truth bomb that fans have been waiting for: His friendship with Whitney has “drastically changed” since he married his wife, Courtney Marsh.

In a candid new interview, the reality star admitted that the days of late-night cuddles and codependency are over. While he still loves Whitney, he made it clear that his priorities have shifted, leaving their once-inseparable bond in uncharted territory.

“I Can’t Be Her Backup Plan Anymore”

“It’s not the same, and it shouldn’t be,” Buddy reportedly confessed. “For years, I was Whitney’s emotional crutch. We had that pact that if we weren’t married by 40, we’d marry each other. Well, I got married. That contract is in the trash.”

Insiders say the distance—both physical and emotional—has been hard on Whitney. Since Buddy moved out of Greensboro to start his life with Courtney, the daily visits have stopped, and the “husband-lite” duties he used to perform for Whitney have vanished.

Whitney Feels the “Drift”

Sources close to the Thore family claim Whitney is struggling to adjust to her new placement in Buddy’s life.

“She used to be number one,” an insider revealed. “Now she is number two, or maybe even number three. She is happy for him, but it stings. She feels like she lost her platonic soulmate to the ‘traditional life’ she always wanted.”

The End of “Boo Bear”?

Buddy also hinted that his wife, Courtney, while supportive, has established healthy boundaries that didn’t exist before.

“Courtney is my wife,” Buddy stated. “I can’t be running to Greensboro every time Whitney has a crisis. I have a family now.”

As the new season approaches, fans are wondering if the show will finally address the elephant in the room: Can Whitney and Buddy survive as “just friends,” or was their bond dependent on them both being single and lonely?
