Fans of Alaskan Bush People are waking up to a terrifying update from the eldest Brown sibling. Matt Brown, who has been battling addiction demons for years, posted a raw and deeply disturbing video at 3:00 AM this morning, tearfully admitting that he came dangerously close to ending his sobriety on New Year’s Eve.

The video, which was uploaded to his YouTube channel and Instagram before being abruptly set to “private” hours later, showed the 43-year-old sitting in the dark in his Washington cabin, visibly shaken and fighting back tears.

“I Had The Bottle In My Hand”

In the heartbreaking confession, Matt revealed that the isolation of the holidays nearly broke him.

“I haven’t been honest with you guys,” Matt whispered to the camera, his voice cracking. “New Year’s Eve was the darkest night I’ve had in five years. The silence up here… it got to me. I drove to the store. I bought it. I had the bottle in my hand. I was ready to throw it all away.”

Matt went on to say that memories of his late father, Billy Brown, and the pain of his ongoing estrangement from the rest of the “Wolfpack” triggered the near-relapse. “I just wanted the noise in my head to stop,” he admitted.

A Miracle Moment?

According to Matt, what saved him wasn’t willpower, but a sign. He claimed that just as he was about to open the bottle, a picture of him and his brothers fell off the wall.

“I looked at that photo and I remembered who I am,” Matt said, wiping his eyes. “I poured it down the sink. But I’m scared. I’m really scared of how close I got.”

Fans Beg Ami Brown to Intervene

The video has sparked a massive outcry online, with thousands of fans tagging Ami Brown and Bear Brown on social media, begging them to reach out to Matt before it’s too late.

“He is crying out for help,” one top comment read on the show’s Reddit page. “He shouldn’t be alone on that mountain. Ami, please, put the pride aside and go get your son.”

As of this morning, Matt has not posted a follow-up, leaving his 200,000 followers praying that he has made it through another night sober.
