The walls have finally come down. In a moment that Honey Boo Boo fans never thought they would see, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson has reportedly broken his silence in a tear-jerking plea for redemption, begging his estranged daughter Alana Thompson to forgive him before it’s too late.

The shocking confession reportedly took place during a tense, mediated sit-down that was filmed for an upcoming special. Witnesses say the typically stoic reality dad “completely broke down,” sobbing uncontrollably as he faced the daughter he is accused of abandoning.

“I Was A Terrible Father”

According to insiders present at the taping, Sugar Bear didn’t make excuses this time.

“He looked Alana in the eye and said, ‘I failed you. I was a terrible father, and I let my demons take over,'” a source revealed. “He admitted to prioritizing his relationships and his addictions over her. He was shaking. He told her, ‘I don’t want to die without you knowing that I love you. Please, just give me one chance to fix it.'”

Alana is “Torn”

Alana, now 20 and living her own life with boyfriend Dralin Carswell, was reportedly stunned by her father’s vulnerability.

“Alana didn’t know what to say,” the insider added. “She has built a wall up to protect herself. She told him, ‘Sorry doesn’t change the past, Daddy.’ But you could see she was fighting back tears. This is the apology she has waited ten years to hear.”

Is It Too Little, Too Late?

While some fans are rooting for a reconciliation, others—including Alana’s sister Pumpkin—are reportedly furious, believing this is just another stunt by Sugar Bear to get back on TV.

“Pumpkin warned Alana not to fall for it,” the source claimed. “She thinks he is only crying because he is lonely and broke. But Alana is an adult now, and the choice is hers.”

Will Alana open her heart, or is the damage already done?
