A Reddit user posted a question about the TLC show. “Watching current season, and based phi’s body and complexion, I’m betting he has early signs of liver failure,” they wrote.

Several people disagreed, with one person calling it a “stretch.” Others pointed out issues that could have caused the changes the original poster mentioned, such as allergies or even diabetes.

“Is he the most attractive guy?, no, but this take is WILD! Liver failure. Girl what?!?!!?” one person exclaimed in the comments. The OP replied, stating they’ve “seen it before” and that it could be in the early stages.

However, there were several other MBFFL fans who noticed the changes in Whitney Thore’s brother too. “He looks like an alcoholic,” one Reddit user agreed. “He’s puffy and has ‘alcohol face.’ I def think something is up with his health due to that.” Another pointed out that he’s been drinking heavily with the Alabama family as well.
