1000-Lb Best Friends star Meghan Crumpler is no stranger to health issues.
When she made her TLC debut on Too Large, Dr. Procter warned her that she desperately needed to make lifestyle changes. Thankfully, she did qualify for bariatric surgery, which greatly helped with several of her medical conditions. But she isn’t out of the woods yet.
Sadly, Meghan shared an update with her fans on social media detailing her latest lung issue.

Meghan Crumpler’s medical team agrees she made the right choice by undergoing bariatric surgery. However, it seems that many of her organs have already suffered tremendously. Once again, Meghan admitted she was struggling with lung problems and taking prednisone to help.
Although prednisone is a steroid commonly prescribed to aid with inflammation, the side effects include increased appetite and weight gain. In the past, Meghan has discussed how the medication makes it more difficult for her to lose weight.
“Update on my health: I am still recovering but managing my lung health,” the 1000-Lb Best Friends star shared with fans online. “Currently, I am undergoing treatment with prednisone. I am seeking recommendations for plus-size lingerie retailers beyond Torrid and Lane Bryant. Ideally, I am looking for stores that offer true-to-size options. However, I face a challenge due to my proportionally larger top half, which often requires me to purchase large sizes to accommodate my bust.”
“On a separate note, I am anticipating improved health upon completing my predisone treatment, which will enable me to resume work on outstanding packages,” Meghan continued. “Please be assured that I am nearing completion and expect to dispatch them this week. I appreciate your well wishes and assistance. Your input is invaluable. I am grateful for your comments and support.”
