Alaskan Bush People star Rain Brown and her husband, Josiah, are back in the news, but for all the wrong reasons. Last week, authorities arrested the couple in Okanogan, Washington, on charges of first-degree burglary. According to reports from The Sun, the 22-year-old diva, legally named Merry Christmas Raindrop Brown, participated in a burglary attempt. Additionally, she faced charges of second-degree criminal trespassing.
According to the report, her 23-year-old husband, Josiah, was also helping her in the mischief. The couple married in January 2025. Brown is famous for her role in the show Alaskan Bush People. She appeared in the show in 2014 when she was just 11 years old. In the show, she and her family lived in the wilderness of Hoonah, Alaska. For months, they would go without seeing each other. The network cancelled the show in 2022.

Cops arrested Rain Brown and her husband, Josiah, for first-degree burglary and second-degree trespassing. They were released from the Okanagan County Jail on Monday, April 14. Reports indicate that the couple did not need to post bail and is expected to appear at a later scheduled court date. They were in lockup until April 14. After the first hearing, the judges decided to move the case forward.
As of now, no one knows the circumstances under which they were involved in the burglary. There are no reports from the County’s Sheriff. Rain’s brother and sister-in-law requested a restraining order against her a year ago. They claim that the diva stalked them and requested that she should not contact them any further. After submitting the report, authorities instructed Rain not to appear within a thousand meters of them. They also added that the Rain caused them emotional distress.
Rain Brown revealed in December 2023, via an Instagram post, that she and Lorton were dating. Soon after announcing their relationship, she revealed that they met at work and gradually fell in love. She was a waitress, and he was the head chef. The diva, via an Instagram post, shared that her husband showed her what real and pure love looks like.
Rain’s brother also claimed that his two sons are not safe from their auntie. However, Rain never reacted to the claims. Ever since she married Lawton, she has been posting photos with her husband. Recently, in early March, she shared a photo with Lorton.
