The Bringing Up Bates star posted an emotional tribute to social media just moments ago, confirming that the matriarch of their extended family died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
“Our Hearts Are Broken”
Kelly Jo, who was incredibly close to her mother, described the loss as “immeasurable.”
“Mom was the glue that held so many of us together,” Kelly Jo wrote in the tearful announcement. “She was a fighter until the very end, but the Lord decided it was time to call her home. We are rejoicing that she is no longer in pain, but our hearts are broken to say goodbye.”
